Overview
- They serve fresh sashimi in portions you would never expect at these prices.
- It is a popular place, so you may have to wait in line for a bit.
Here is the outside of the restaurant (ゆうき食堂). It is visible from the nearby intersection, and its lively atmosphere makes it easy to spot. However, the Kotsubo Fishing Port (小坪漁港) area itself is a little hard to find, so first-time visitors should take care.

We ordered the ¥980 tuna nakaochi rice bowl (tuna scraped from the bone) and a side of shirako (cod milt) with ponzu for ¥400.

Right next to the fishing port is Zushi’s resort condominium district.
It is a sophisticated neighborhood reminiscent of Santa Monica in Los Angeles.
