Overview

• We introduce lunch at Restaurant La Marée de Chaya (ラ・マーレ・ド・茶屋).
• It is ranked 2nd among restaurants in the Hayama area on Tabelog. True to that rating, every dish was delicious.

Our Visit

• The restaurant sits at the entrance to Hayama Marina, a very visible location. When we visited, it was bustling with people and cars, and there were staff directing traffic in the parking lot.
• That day, we arrived 20 minutes before lunch service began, but there were already about 10 names on the waiting list. By the time we left, even more people were waiting.

We ordered the lunch course. The quiche was exceptionally delicious and memorable.

The soup was rich and full of flavor.

The main dish was also rich and delicious.

The dessert was homemade and pleasantly sweet without being too much.
