We want a desk made of natural wood, so we have been looking for one made from a single slab.
Hayama Kagu (葉山家具), a furniture shop in Hayama, had one on display, so we went to take a look.
The photo shows a single slab of Japanese horse chestnut (tochi). The price is ¥138,000.
The texture is wonderful, and it is a very attractive piece.
