The season has turned cooler, but in the mountains it is still fairly humid, just enough that you work up a sweat when running. The entrance to the forest road is a two-minute walk from the property, so we’re lucky to be able to go hiking or trail running right away.
We hear that in summer you can see fireflies near the headwaters of the Morito River (Morito-gawa).
