Current Situation
There are woods to the south, and branches are growing over onto our property.
We have asked the landowner to cut them back, but they won’t do anything about it. We do have their permission to cut the trees ourselves.
Because of these trees, the property gets little sunlight and tends to stay damp.
The millipedes are coming onto my land from theirs in the first place, so I would like them to address the root cause, but they have taken no action at all.

On top of growing over the boundary, vines have become tangled in the power lines. The slope is so steep that an ordinary person could not climb it to cut them, so there is nothing we can do.
The landowner whose trees are encroaching promised to cut them down over the winter, but there is no sign of that happening.

Millipedes are still getting into the house.
Countermeasures
I forgot to take an “after” photo, but I cut down the encroaching trees.
Simply felling them is easy, but cutting them into small pieces so they are easier to clean up later takes time.
It took half a day.
