Checking the Situation
We visited the property for the first time in two weeks.
Millipedes are still getting indoors. Hardly any live ones were seen.
No intrusion into the second floor was found.
We gathered the carcasses from the LDK floor into one spot.

Millipede carcasses near the entrance. Since we didn’t record how much we had cleaned last time, we can’t tell whether these are new.

Countermeasures Carried Out
We applied aluminum tape to the building’s foundation. The back is butyl, so it is highly adhesive and should hold up for a long time.

We’d like to apply it around the entire perimeter of the building, but part of it connects to the wood deck, so we can’t. We will probably also need measures against millipedes that get in by crawling along the wood deck.
